Everything was immacualte. Check in was easy. Close to restaraunts and Heavenly Village and Gondola.

Heavenly Retreat was fabulous! The layout was great for our family. We loved the large kitchen, the pool table and the hot tub! The location is just far enough from the casinos to be super quiet but not so far that it feels difficult to head over to them. We can’t wait to come back!

Everything was perfect and spot on, high class appliance’s. Home was exceptionally clean and easy to find. For a larger family it’s nice having the two sinks in the kitchen, which adds more versatility when preparing meals.

This house was in a great location for us, not too far from the wedding venue that we were attending and right next door to hiking trails.

We enjoyed our stay and especially appreciated the hiking trails through the nearby woods.

Our 3rd year renting from RnR and we'll never consider anyone else! The house: every room was clean, even the laundry room shone! Everything works, nothing out of place. Furnishings, amenities, appliances, all just what you'd want. It's clear the owners didn't skimp just because it's a rental - everything is of good quality and you can tell they thought about what you'd need to make your stay here feel practically luxurious. There were charging port stations on every nightstand, comfy bed linens and large, fluffy pillows. They even had large (quiet) air purifiers upstairs and downstairs, so even the breathing air was clean! The kitchen is well-stocked, the dishes and glasses sparkling, matching silverware, huge fridge, and a multi-function oven that I'd want in my own kitchen! Also there are brand-new, large capacity washer & dryer, again appliances that I would pick for myself if I could! It really felt like we were staying someplace where a close friend had set up the home for us after thinking of everything we'd want ahead of time! RnR provided just the right amount of info and checking in with us during our stay, just in case we needed anything. Also, I have to say that throughout every vacation rental process, the RnR folks have always been super-helpful, responsive, and personable - really GREAT customer service of the kind you rarely see anymore. Great house, great company - what more could you want?

My family loved this place. The area was perfect and house was great. If the backyard was in better shape it would make a difference. Still a solid 8 overall.

The neighborhood is quiet, serene, and beautiful. The house was big enough for my family of 6 adults, and provided us the space to get together and spend quality time. I enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, and decor of the home as well. Everything was clean, and there were plenty of dishes/cooking utensils for use, which we really appreciated. Thanks for allowing us to rent the space, my whole family really enjoyed it!

We loved our stay. The place was perfect for our two families, a short drive to Heavenly Ski. A great kitchen, comfortable living room, and bedrooms were all nice. We’d definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home

What a lovely place for a getaway.

A bit on the pricier side but overall a great place!

Terrific location that was so close to everything you’d want to do in South Lake Tahoe. Kids were able to build an awesome sled run and play in the snow in the nearby National Forest area. We had our own sleds, but the house had 3+ sleds ready for use! Kitchen was stocked with great equipment… we always travel to rentals with our own pans/knives because some places have terrible kitchen tools… we didn’t need to use our own items as their knives and pans were in great shape.

This was our family’s first Airbnb and we loved our stay ! The kitchen has been renovated from the old pictures though and it is beautiful, lots of stairs for hubby with bad knees and old dog to get outside though, next time we will find a one story place for sure, the hot tub was great but a little smelly! Neighborhood was nice and a truck with Christmas lights was making his rounds and the kids loved it !

Beautiful cabin in a great location. Secluded yet still a 10 minute drive from the village. Very cozy and thoughtful touches throughout the cabin. Definitely plan to book again!

What a wonderful weekend we had! Katie was amazing! She was so helpful with our plumbing issue and even helped us on a personal note. My son lost his wedding ring in the backyard. We know it’s a long shot but please let us know if anyone finds it. The only negative was the stuff in the garage that only allowed us to get one car in.

Heavenly Retreat was in a really nice location. There were beautiful trials just at the end of the street and it was not too far to downtown South Shore.

The home was clean and the kitchen had all the cooking items you'd need. The hot tub was awesome and we enjoyed playing pool.

We had an issue with the smoke detector and the property manager came right out and fixed it. Super quick response from management was appreciated!

Beautiful house in a peaceful location, very close to activities, restaurants and the lake. We loved the hot tub in the cool evenings, the BBQ for grilling and the spacious kitchen and living room layout. Really appreciative of the rental agency's quick communication!

We love Lake Tahoe and the location of this house was great. The kitchen is huge and has 2 sinks! The lower level stays nice and cool in the summer and we enjoyed the pool table. Summer can be quite hot but the house has several fans that will keep the living room from getting too warm, be sure to shut the windows during the day and open them up in the evenings.

Overall v good experience in terms of location/cleanliness/spacious/facilities but the water in bathroom was either v cold or v hot due to which we had inconvenience

Great spot. Super good location. Hot tub and pool table was the highlight.

This cabin was perfect for our spring break for our family and dogs. Everything was in perfect working order for relaxing, hot tubbing, snow play, and cooking. The location was ideal! Super quiet neighborhood near two trail access points. Note, if you do needle arts bring your own task light because there are no floor lamps in the living room. But the windows are huge and let in lots of natural light so staring out at the forest was a great option. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The location, cleanliness, amenities and communication with RnR was all around fantastic. We enjoyed sledding in the neighborhood, snow shoeing up on Kingsbury grade and some wonderful bites from local eateries. The hot tub was the perfect place to unplug and the home was clean, spacious and comfortable.

The cabin was great! Our family had a great vacation. Highly recommend!

We loved our time here!

The house was amazing in a beautiful location. The house had everything we needed, confortable beds, fun game room and a very relaxing hot tub sorrounded by the trees around the home. The location was very close to both casino area and beautiful South Lake Tahoe hiking trails and different beaches.

Great neighborhood

This house was great and perfect for our family trip. We had 5 people in our group. The house was very clean and the kitchen/living room/dining area was nice to everyone to hang out while cooking. The kids enjoyed the game room with pool table and the hot tub was perfect after skiing

6 adults and the House was very nice! very well equipped kitchen, great layout for family time and space for alone time! Hot tub is #1... easy access to all Lake Tahoe has to offer.

This property is a gem. Home is in great condition, perfect for groups of 4-6, and dog owner’s alike. Yard is fenced in and is large enough for dog to run around. Thoughtful touches throughout, including dog bowls, cooking utensils, laundry detergent, etc. the home is in great condition, especially given its cost. WiFi works really well, along with smart TV in the family room and billiards area. Property is located 8-10 min from Heavenly, casinos, and a large selection of restaurants. Lastly, the host/rental company goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfortable.

They thought of everything with this rental compared to our last one. They provided us with plenty of toiletries. Every bathroom was fully stocked and we only had 2 guest. They had more than an ample amount of towels for us to use along with a fully functional laundry room and laundry soap to wash if needed. They went above and beyond to ensure we lacked nothing needed for our stay. We would definitely stay here again. Wonderful experience!

This is a beautiful place! It is very clean and felt super cozy!! It has everything you need and then some. We took 3 children and our Lab. All I can say is we didn’t want to leave!! Great place to rest, relax and have some great family time!

The family had a great time at this cabin. Plenty of space for everyone, very clean and plenty of kitchen accessories if you’re planning on cooking. Grill worked great. Hot tub was very nice. Would definitely stay again.

Loved the house! The listing says it all. Very clean, comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen, strong wifi. Hot tub was perfectly operational as was the grill. Living room was frankly nicer and more spacious than expected. I understand the need to preserve the condition of such a beautiful rental, and yet I did find some aspects of the communication regarding rules to be slightly off-putting. Willing to look past it as it was a dream vacation we were desperate to have and such a lovely stay.

This is a large home, exactly as pictured. Very spacious and comfortable. We loved having a large kitchen for a week after being stuck in our small apartment for months. Comfortable beds, great amenities including fast internet. So relaxing, would love to stay there again.

This is a great place to stay! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The home is immaculate and checkin/checkout was a breeze. We were close enough to restaurants, the lake and shopping etc, but far away enough to get that quiet mountain retreat. Wonderful neighborhood as well!

Beautiful Home expertly furnished in great location only 15-20 minutes from town. Pool Table, Hot tub and fully equipped home. What more can you want.

Our stay at Heavenly Retreat was great. We were close enough to all of what South Lake Tahoe has to offer but far enough from it to relax in a quiet neighborhood. There were a few issues which were taken care of in a timely manner. The only negative was that the hot tub wasn’t working until our last night there so we weren’t able to use it during our stay. We would definitely stay there again.

This house is excellent, my girlfriend and I stayed here with friends over a 2 week trip and could not have been happier. The place is kitted out with all the basics (sharp knives, real glassware, dishes and pots and pans) one can expect in a home that is lived in rather than just a vacation property. The BBQ was equipped w 2 tanks to ensure guests don’t run out mid visit. The house is dog friendly and has a good sized fenced yard. The hot tub was perfect after a day of skiing and comfortably fit 4 adults. We enjoyed the game room and pool table as well. Not only were the pool cues are straight, the table is in good shape and they even have extra chalk on hand. The house was immaculate and the hosts were quick to respond even on minor items. I would definitely seek these hosts out again for a future visit.

My group of 8 loved this house. It had everything we needed and plenty of space to have the whole group together whether it was playing pool or just playing games and hanging out in the kitchen/living room. Everything was clean and simple and we loved the big trees surrounding the house. Hot tub was a hit. Will look for this again next time we're in Tahoe.

The vacation rental was very spacious but we felt it was way overpriced for the condition that the home was in. Very dated and the beds were not very comfortable and carpet needs to be desperately replaced.

Great house for a great South Tahoe experience. Spacious for 6 guests and our black lab. Great spa for relaxing after skiing and lots of room in the backyard for the dog to play in the snow.

We were able to have the family together for a pre-Christmas vacation and we enjoyed every minute. We played pool, jacuzzi’d in the evening and all of the pans and utensils allowed us to cook a few meals and even bake some cookies. It was beautiful with all of the snow for this trip and we can’t wait to come back during the summer to enjoy the lake.

This home was perfectly suited for a family vacation. Loved the open kitchen to living room with lots of light. The rooms all had at least a queen bed. The downstairs family room with Pool table and TV was a great second space for folks to gather. Very nice hot tub and deck. The backyard was completely fence, so perfect for our dogs

This is my third year staying at this property and once again, it did not disappoint! Heavenly Retreat aptly describes this special home ~ neighborhood is beautiful, within walking distance to the Tahoe Rim trail, views of mountain vistas just out the front door. I appreciated the gift certificate for The Cork & More, my fav cheese shop. House was clean, well-maintained with lots of room and supplied this year with a new deck umbrella and beach chairs and towels for use. I always meet friendly neighbors with whom to chat while walking my dog. Hot tub was divine on the deck under the stars ~ this house is magnificent and relaxing whether by yourself or with guests but also close to beaches and bike trails as well as casinos and restaurants. I highly recommend this house and will return.

Can't speak highly enough about this property and the customer service from RnR! We've rented property homes before for getaways but this was the first rental that truly felt as cozy as "home." Loved the downstairs pool table and cute slide-out bed (in the bedroom with two twins and a queen bed). Appreciated that the kitchen/laundry room were stocked with scent free cleaning supplies. Didn't use the outdoor hot tub but the kids loved the jacuzzi tub in the master bath. We had minor wear/tear issues during our stay (door/drawer knobs and towel rack) - maintenance arrived within an hour during both calls. The only glitch were the pots/pans still caked with pancake batter - which were easily fixed with a good scrub. Highly recommend this property and we'll stay here again the next time we're in South Lake Tahoe! Also fast check-in/out process and great communication from RnR!

This was a beautiful home, RnR were so accommodating with an extension of our stay. The only thing I would say would be we had 6 adults and in my opinion that would be he max occupancy for sleeping. The location was absolutely perfect for groups of people to do their own thing. It was very clean the kitchen is well equipped.

We rented this home for a Family vacation for a week. The overall space was perfect. We liked how the bedrooms were separated. The hot tub on the lower deck was really nice. Beach towels were provided which we had not expected. Loved the pool table.

The kitchen was a good size. All of the appliances, dishes, cookware,etc were sufficient except for a non stick pan. We did end up buying one for the house which made cooking breakfast a lot easier. There were plenty of supplies such as soaps, trash bags, bathroom necessities. It was nice to not run out of the essentials.

We really liked the location and overall neighborhood. It was convenient to heavenly village.

Overall good

We rented this home to celebrate my parents' 50th wedding anniversary with our close family. It was perfect. My parents wanted something low-key, they love the outdoors and allowed my dad to enjoy his dogs without the worry and cost of boarding them or leaving them at home with a friend. It worked out well. With a home cooked meal, all the kids there, a very casual and fun Renewal of Vows ceremony, my parents couldn't think of anything better!
Thank you for accommodating our family in your home. It was so special and the team worked well to make this amazing event work out for us all. Cheers to your team and to the owners for allowing us to share this beautiful home. The amenities were perfect. We had a great time staying at this home. It was spacious with wonderful amenities. We were able to only drive a few minutes to find fun places for the family. Highly recommended area!

My friends and I had a great time at this beautiful home. The open concept kitchen and living room were great for visiting. The pool table in the rec room was fun for all. The house is very close to a trail that allowed us to walk our dogs and enjoy the wilderness. A short drive to shopping and casinos. I would recommend for families and a getaway for a friends vacation.

Thank you for providing such a beautiful and 'affordable' place to vacation. My family and extended family/friends had a wonderful time; enjoying the beautiful house, the amenities and everything surrounding the house.
Everything was great; however I do have several comments:
1. Given the house accommodated 10 people, there were a shortage of towels
2. The trees above overlooking the hot tubs had pine cones falling - thankfully, no one was injured but just a note to consider.
Other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay and your beautiful property.

We loved our Tahoe vacation. The house, location and amenities were perfect.

The location is in the middle of Tahoe - from the natural wild life experience to the night life and shopping. It was perfect for us with our teenage kids. The home was setup so that we could have alone time and the kids could be entertained as well. So the only issue we had was the hot tub was a little cold, but our kids did not tell us early enough to talk to the management company. We had a jetted tub and did not have to leave our room so we had no issues.

We had a wonderful time and the home was exactly as described. We enjoyed the hot tub and the kids were able to sled at a nearby hill. Very close to skiing and to all the restaurants.

We spent several days at Stu & Diane's Heavenly Retreat and had a wonderful time. The layout of the house was ideal for our family with 3 couples and 2 small children. The house was in perfect condition and well appointed, the kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking supplies you would need. The upstairs family room was comfortable and where we tended to hang out but the family used the pool table and hot tub every day as well! Check in was incredibly easy and the cable/internet worked like a charm. We would definitely stay at the property again when visiting South Lake Tahoe!
