Lakeland Village #225 - Studio in Lodge, romantic remodel

Lakeland Village was conveniently located to all of the restaurants and activities in and around South Lake Tahoe. The studio was perfect for our honeymoon getaway — conveniently located, clean, and intimate. The staff on site were also helpful!

This studio condo is in the Lakeland Village lodge, so it's a great location close to the beach (5 minute walk to Lakeland Village beach) and within walking distance to restaurants and the marina. The condo is modern and much more updated than other Lakeland Village condos we have stayed in. The kitchen was well equipped, had everything we needed. The unit has AC which was nice given the heat of the summer.

This was our first VRBO experience and we were very happy with the accommodations. The condo was as described, all updated, perfect for 2 people. We usually stay in hotels and this time it was a longer stay in Lake Tahoe so we were able to settle in, buy groceries, and cook as though we were at home. The appliances are nice and newer. We really liked the private beach at this community and the location on the main highway. The best part was the parking in the garage for this building, keeping the car cool and shady. The sunsets were spectacular from the beach and lakefront. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and basic supplies. The towels and beach towels were nice to have handy. We used the laundry facilities a few times and that was very convenient. I was just recovering from Knee Surgery so the fact that this unit is in an elevator building was very helpful. There wasn't a lot of storage for our clothes in this unit but all else made up for it. The bed was comfortable, the TV was nice sized with excellent screen quality, and the balcony is nice for sitting and we used the electric grill a few times and it was great! We would stay here again and highly recommend it. The communication and customer service from the property management was outstanding. Thank you!

This unit was perfect for a couples getaway in Tahoe! The unit had everything we needed and was extremely clean. Lots of thoughtful touches such as a deck of cards, games, books, and plenty of TP, garbage bags and shampoo/conditioner/body wash, make-up remover wipes, etc. The kitchen was fully stocked and provided a sponge for cleaning/dishes, kitchen towels, basic spices/cooking oil and had plenty of dishes/silverware and serve ware. Plenty of beach towels and the amenities and grounds were wonderful! The location was perfect and walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants as well. We can't wait to come stay again!

The unit was very clean and modern but also romantic and cozy. The bath tub was great after boarding all day. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The underground parking was such an unexpected bonus when the weather was bad and the location was perfect for us with grocery stores, restaurants and Heavanly Village minutes away. The BEST part was our hosts! Every time we needed anything or had any questions they answered their phone immediately and everyone I talked to was so friendly and happy to help us with everything. I recommend this unit and any properties hosted by RnR to everyone. Mahalo for making our vacation in South Lake Tahoe amazing and memorable. We look forward to our next trip to South Lake Tahoe.

This place is a great option. You are close enough to everything, but it is still very peaceful. Rnr makes sure to communicate very well with their customers.

Nice, updated unit in the lodge, clean and cute. Had some issues to start but they were quick to accommodate and resolve. Good location, would recommend.

The condo we stayed in was just like described. It was very clean ,well equipped and the staff was available to answer any questions they stayed in touch with me via text and email. It was above and beyond what we could imagine. We really enjoyed our time in Lake Tahoe and coming to a nice place to sleep and cook and rest was very satisfying. I really love the fireplace. Whoever manages or owns this condo has equipped it very well. There was even a first aid kit if it was needed it was updated and very clean. The bed was nice and restful condo is equipped for just two people which was perfect. I could see how having a child with you would also give you everything that you needed. Unfortunately we did not use any of the amenities but I’m sure they were fine. We were so busy having fun we didn’t have time to use the workout room or the Jacuzzi. Definitely on the top of our list for rentals very convenient we had underground parking and they had the luggage carriers in the garage, so it made it easy to take our luggage up to the room and back. I appreciate it the staffs contact they wanted to make sure that we had everything we needed, and that we were satisfied.

We enjoyed our stay and the place was a perfect for our needs. It's convenient to have private beach access and overall the property area was nice. Our room was clean and well stocked. Just a note that will hopefully not deter anyone from booking, but I think it's good information to have ahead of time, it can be noisy if you have people staying above you.

Our stay with RnR Vacation Rentals was amazing. The staff was incredibly attentive and responsive via text. Unfortunately for us, our luggage was lost at the airport. RnR communicated with me throughout the process and even delivered our bag to our apartment after the airline delivered it to the office. For arrival, we got to the location later at night so it was a little difficult to discern between all the different buildings within Lakeland Village, but the directions were spot-on. More on us being tired from a long day of traveling! Would definitely book with RnR again.

Good location with private beach

Our property that we normally stay in was damaged in the recent snows so this year we had to make other arrangements. We loved, loved staying here. The place was clean, it had everything we needed, even if we didn’t find it for a couple of days. The management staff was easy to get ahold of, very friendly. My husband and I will be back.

Our stay at Lakeland village was very relaxing & enjoyable. Lake Tahoe is as beautiful as everyone told us. Our room/studio was clean, spacious, comfortable & well equipped. Things that we loved: Close parking, walk to a wonderful & clean beach, well equipped kitchen & many attractions were within walking distance. There are comfortable lounge chairs on the beach & large beach towels in the room. Ice water & coffee in the lobby. Brochures available too. The pool & sauna area was very nice. Really the only slight problem we had was the front desk staff was a bit dismissive when we arrived. When we had a few questions about checking in & resort amenities. As soon as they found out we were renting through VRBO, they said they weren’t really able to help us. Then while relaxing on the beach a man asked if I was a guest because I didn’t have a wrist band. I had my phone with me & showed him my confirmation. He explained that the front desk had the wrist bands & should have given them to us upon arrival. Just a small inconvenience.

Lakeland Village was a perfect home base for us during our trip to Lake Tahoe. The condo is cozy, quiet and super comfortable. Walking distance to everything in South Lake Tahoe, beaches, bike and running trails, and a short drive to some of the best hiking trails in the world. Building front desk staff was always friendly, laundry easy to use, and lots of great recommendations in the guide book.

Reservation process easy, contacts always professional and helpful. Location is wonderful, beach access, quiet and peaceful stay.

Great location and nice updated room. Everything was clean and getting into the unit was easy. We were a little disappointed that we did not have a view of the lake from our balcony, the pictures made it seem like we would have a lake view from our room. Overall a great stay.

Great studio with perfect location

The condo was tastefully decorated and well-equipped kitchen with a Foremans grill on the balcony. The fireplace is beautiful and everything was comfy and cozy. The village is quaint to with a short walk to the lake--this unit has no view of the lake however. The complex itself was undergoing some renovations but didn't interfere with our stay. The place however is not well-insulated and the kids who were directly above us hit the ground running every morning at 6 a.m. and we could even hear them counting as they played...there needs to be better insulation between units;) Other than that, we enjoyed our stay as it was centrally located and quiet at night! Everyone at the front desk was very friendly and helpful!

Our condo was in the perfect location. Close to restaurants,shopping, and skiing. It is vert comfortable and homey. Would stay there again with no second thoughts.

My husband and I enjoyed spending our anniversary here. The condo was very clean and tastefully decorated, the bed was comfortable, and the location was convenient. It was nice to be able to park in the garage and near the elevator. The community hot tub was spacious and well maintained. I recommend bringing a sleep mask if you are bothered by the glow of lights at night, as the street lights kind of came through the blinds and curtains. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Had an initial issue with parking and disturbances coming from unit above us but both were handled to our satisfaction. Quick responses and availability. Clean, comfortable and well stocked unit.

The unit itself was fabulous- it was well equipped, and had everything we needed. The bed was ridiculously comfortable. My only complaint would be the lack of clarification regarding the location of the unit itself. It would have been helpful to list in the description or in the documentation somewhere that the unit was actually inside the lodge. We drove around the complex a couple of times, trying to figure out where 225 could possibly be. We found it because we went inside the lodge to ask for help. I just feel like this could’ve been spelled out easily in the check in directions. All in all great visit- great stay, would definitely recommend

This was the perfect getaway for two people! So close to Stateline but also just a car ride away from some of the most beautiful hikes! RNR was very easy and quick to communicate with. Everything lived up to its expectations!

This condo was perfect! It was everything it promised and more. Beautifully decorated and stocked with so many nice touches. The vibe was perfect, the fireplace really sets the atmosphere! The host were very responsive when needed for any questions . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We stayed for two nights at the property. The room itself was great. Clean and well taken care of. About 1.2 miles from the shops and casino. The overall property itself is dated and a little tired. Overall we would recommend this property

Toilet wouldn’t flush. Phoned number given for problems and toilet fixed within a few hours of call. I wish I could get repairs done that quickly in my own home.

Wonderful rental in a great location. Walked to the grocery store a couple of times, ate at a nearby restaurant, etc. Kiddo stayed on the hide-a-bed and it was very comfortable for her. No poking wires or anything in the mattress. King size bed was comfortable for us parents.

Went to one of the pools a couple times and it was super cold, but refreshing on a hot day. Going to the beach was nice though there was quite a lot of seaweed. The lake at that location was much warmer than the pool!
Was warm in Tahoe and A/C worked but only OK. It blows cold air right onto the side of the bed with no way to direct more into the room, which is a problem for the person sleeping right by it at night. However, that is a minor complaint and the overall unit was very good. The location is great because it is close to the elevator which opens into the parking garage. Definitely appreciated that a lot since the car was out of the elements.

Would definitely recommend or stay there again!

Centrally located, beautiful appointed studio condo. The bed was very comfortable and that's saying something with two people with bad backs. Kithen was well stocked with anything you might need and then some. I feel the owners put a lot of thought into making this property a home away from home for guests.

This was a nice unit, well furnished and clean. The bed was supercomfotable. There are two pools and two hottubs in the complex. One pool/hottub is lakefrount. The private beach access is very nice. Not crowded and pretty spacious. Many restraurants and two grocery stores are within walking distance.

My husband and I had an amazing time here at this location. You are in a prime spot, you have everything around if needed. Whole Foods, cvs, and restaurants in walking distance. Amazing views and wonderful interior of home. Will definitely be back if we ever return to the Tahoe area.

Super nicely appointed, conveniently located studio near Heavenly with kitchen perfect for a couple. My fiancé and I stayed here for a week on a ski vacation and found it very comfortable and romantic, and we had the option of cooking dinner each night. We would definitely stay here again.

We were pleasantly surprised to have everything needed for our 4-day stay in this cozy apartment. The bed and bedding were so comfy and we were able to find everything we needed for making small meals in the kitchen. Fully outfitted with bathroom soap and shampoo/cond, a fan and air purifier, and a great TV and sound system. Loved the location to everything in town. Will look to book again!

We had a great stay and experience at our condo at Lakeland Village in South Lake Tahoe. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The studio apartment was extremely well-appointed. The bed was amazing! We would definitely recommend this unit for two people. The location was awesome, only a few minutes walk to the private beach and very close to anything you would need, groceries, drugstore, restaurants, etc. Heavenly Village was just a 5 minute drive away. The only suggestion we have is to work on the air conditioner. If it were any warmer during our stay, the days would have been uncomfortable. But, since it cooled off at night, a fan with the windows open worked well.

As other reviewers have mentioned, this place is impeccably clean. It is beautiful and relaxing and was the absolute perfect space for my husband and I. The bed was incredibly comfortable! It's a short walk to all kinds of restaurants and grocery stores (across the street from Whole Foods), and a short drive to gorgeous hiking. The private beach is lovely as well. We hope to return soon!

This place was clean, stylish/cute, they had good amenities, great location, easy parking, etc. I can’t think of a single thing this space could improve on to make my stay there better. I can assume that any location from RNR is as good as this one. I will 100% be rebooking when I go back to Tahoe. If you see this space available during your requested dates, don’t wait, book it!
