Overall our stay was nice, the property management was quick to fix the screen when we needed. An outdoor coffee table would be a nice addition for future stays for guests and maybe more outdoor furniture to the backyard for seating to accommodate guests especially to enjoy the hotter summer nights. Nice property. Easy access to town

The home was very comfortable and spacious. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly and far from the crowds while still being close enough to all the restaurants and stores

It was a great place. Responsive and friendly host. We had a problem With an internet and they came and fix it. Clean and cozy.

My family and I stayed here for two nights. It was a lovely home. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The fenced yard was a great place for the kids and dog to play. Very comfortable beds and couch. We will definitely be back with more family. There was plenty of room for two families to stay comfortably.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cubby Bear and made good use of the amenities including the BBQ which had back up propane which was nice. Having the garage door opener available was really helpful for returning from our ski trips. Would stay here again for sure.

Nice clean house. Had everything we needed for our trip. Beds were comfortable, showers were hot, heat was working. What more can you ask for.

Fantastic house in a great location. The living areas were spacious, the kids had tons of fun with the climbing wall and the foosball table (and puzzles they found!), and the hot tub was wonderful after a day at Heavenly.

The house is very comfortable, bed and bath linens in great condition. We enjoyed it as a family. We had an unexpected situation with the hot water, but it was resolved as soon as we contacted the company. Strict guest rules, the house holds 12 people, but not all can be adults, they describe all the rules in the description. It was a great stay in Lake Tahoe

We had a great stay at Cubby Bear. It’s a beautiful home with lots of space. The kitchen is well supplied and had everything we needed. The 4 car limit can be a challenge if you have a full house but we managed fine. Also the stairs to upper level are very steep so something to keep in mind if you have guests with mobility issues. All in all a great stay. Thank you

I rented this property as a surprise for my husbands 50th Birthday and was actually able to get all 3 of our daughters, 3 Son-in-laws and 2 grandchildren there which is a task in itself. My husband was over the moon happy to have everyone there in an area that he has always loved. We would definately go through RnR again as they were very accomminating

Nice, clean home in a peacefull area. 15 minute drive to destinations. We could not fit 2 trucks in the driveway or garage side by side.

The house was just as described. Clean and spacious. Our family of 8 with our two dogs had a wonderful stay. The kitchen was fully stocked for our chef in the family to make wonderful meals. The fenced yard was perfect for the dogs. It was an easy and quick drive to everything! Would stay again!

The house was roomy, comfortable, well equipped, very clean. The location was quiet and well situated for hiking trails and the grocery store. Ten of us from 3 years old to 77 had a very nice 5 day vacation!

Spent a few days at a wonderful Tahoe home with spacious rooms and very well equipped kitchen. Very comfortable king bed in master with adjoining bath with double-headed shower. Upstairs family room had plenty of space for several people to hang out, large capacity table and extra bar stools too. New oven and large refrigeration. Upstairs deck with comfortable couch seating and BBQ. Grandkids enjoyed the rock wall and games downstairs. Larger bathroom for both bedrooms to share worked out well. Garage space adequate but not large enough for pick up truck due to watercraft in the garage already. We really enjoyed the home otherwise.

We enjoyed this home and it worked well for our 3 families w/3 kids ages 4-8 and our dog. Nice fixtures and amenities throughout. Well appointed kitchen. Nice appliances. The large dining table was able to accommodate our group of 9 comfortably. Activities for kids on lower level. The large, fenced rear yard worked great for the kids and dog. Backyard deck only had 1 chair so we used our camp chairs.

We had a great trip! 3 families used this ample space and all the amenities, esp the kitchen and the hot tub! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for cooking all your meals at home, which is key when you’re spending money on this beautiful place. We wish we could have enjoyed the outdoors more but pollen and mosquitoes made in tough in summer 23, which obviously is nothing that can be controlled. The neighborhood was extremely quiet. Will stay again if we come back to south lake!

We loved our stay! Everything was perfect, worked, was clean, and enjoyable. We were close to a lot of recreation and stores. We loved cooking in the kitchen, hanging out in the big living room, and watching our kids on the climbing wall and in the hot tub. Thank you for a great stay!

Very "cozy" home. Great location and had everything we needed. Only one suggestion: It would be great to have a baby gate that swung open at the top of the stairs. The one provided was difficult to go over due to it having to be at the top of the stairs to prevent our toddler from playing on the stairs. Other than that, it was an awesome stay!

Cubby Bear house was wonderful. RNR check-in process was seamless. They provide ample amenities for kitchen, baths, and cleaning. They even had towels for the hot tub and sleds in the garage. The home was spotless. We will definitely use RNR for future rentals in the area.

It's a perfect place for a big family stay. Comfortable bedrooms, super clean bathroom and great living room/kitchen. My dogs really like the big yard, although it is unexpectedly covered with snow at end of April lol. Easy to access ski place and the lake, will definitely come back in another visit.

Very clean home with all the amenities! Just a 10min drive to the casinos and shopping. Lots of windows to watch the snow fall. Perfect space for families. Would definitely stay here again.

Rented the house for a week to ski. It was great! Had one issue with the dishwasher not working, but the company was on top of it and made things right. Would love to stay again sometime.

Overall our experience at Cubby Bear was great. The home is beautifully decorated, clean and cozy. The kitchen is not stocked with basic necessities as mentioned in other comments so be sure to bring the basics: salt, pepper, coffee, olive oil etc. Plenty of kitchen appliances and utensils though!

The property manager was easy to get ahold of and was quick to help when our entry code was invalid. We did lose power for 9+ hours due to a winter storm and the house only had 2 emergency flashlights so If you're traveling during the winter I'd reccomend being more preared and bringing extra lights and candles. The fireplace and stove are gas so we were able to keep the house warm!

The neighbors keep to themselves, although are not as friendly as one would hope. We tried saying hello and happy new year to a few but were ignored. The neighborhood is charming and very close to heavenly village. Not ideal to walk, but a 5-10 minute drive. Ubers come to this area as well.

Definitely a great home, great host and great stay. We recommend!

Very comfy house with all the amenities. There was no power for 2 days and we were stuck there but the fireplace stayed on and kept us warm and we played games by portable lantern. Cooktop is gas so we could make coffee with the house’s French press. Sadly coffee was not provided so bring your own! The snowplow came by and cleared the roads fairly early so we could get out if needed.

Great house! Nice big garage and plenty of space for everyone. Short drive to store and Heavenly Village. We liked how the adults and teenagers were able to have their own floor. Good family property. Nice to be able to bring the dog, although it smelled like a dog inhabited home...but what do you do?

Great experience staying here, and it’s close to pretty much everywhere you’d want to go on the South Shore! Would book again.

House was perfect for our family. Downstairs area and bathroom could use a bit more lighting it seemed a bit dark but most people migrated upstairs to the kitchen area. Kitchen was big and beautiful lots of room for our food and we did lots of cooking. Loved the location can’t wait to go back next summer!

This house was in a convenient location to the downtown and the house photographs were exact to what we found. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, comfy beds and availability of Netflix. We had a wonderful trip and would come back again!

On line the house looks huge…but it’s a lot smaller in person. Was very clean & we all had a great time!!

We spent a long weekend at this cabin with 3 families, 6 adults and 5 kids aged 0-10. The cabin is set up great for groups and kids. Besides the climbing wall and hot tub (towels provided) there were also puzzles and games available. The kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans/dishes and small appliances plus seasonings. If you plan to make sandwiches etc bring your own condiments. The fridge is emptied (and sparkling clean) between each guest. Quiet residential neighborhood, perfect for a stroll around the block or to the elementary school playground down the street. Location has easy access to everything within a 5-15 minute drive. All in all a great stay!

Wonderful house, clean, well laid out. Easy access to Heavenly, but away from the hustle and bustle at night. Perfect for our crew. Rental Car a necessity though since its not on a bus route and not walkable

Loved our stay! home is beautiful and functional - great open plan kitchen/living area. Bedrooms are spacious and the games room/hot tub will keep the kids entertained for hours! Great back yard and nice walks straight from the house. Very well equipped - would definitely stay again!

The house was so accommodating, great location, clean and RnR vacation rentals were so prompt on answering questions and helping us with a few things!! Conveniently located and clean! As pictured. Our stay was great - well stocked place, had everything we needed. It was the perfect spot for our holiday gathering...hope to return maybe next time with snow!

Very comfy & cozy. Plenty of room, comfy couch and well stocked kitchen which was perfect since we cooked every day. The game room was super entertaining for the kids and allowed us some quiet time upstairs. We even saw some bunnies running around in the backyard. I had to reach out to the RnR to ask some questions a few times and I was always connected to a real person, and were very helpful, friendly & kind. I highly recommend Cubby Bear Cabin

We rented the Cubby Bear house to celebrate my sister’s 50th birthday! The house was in a nice neighborhood and the turn off from Pioneer Trail was right across from a school so easy to find. It is in a central location for heading either towards the casinos or to our favorite restaurant, The Lake House, which is off of Hwy 50 (Emerald Bay Rd). The house is beautiful and fully stocked! We enjoy renting from RnR as we know their houses will have everything we need to enjoy meals at home especially during a pandemic! The house was also cozy which was important as it snowed several inches one of the days we were there! The gas fireplaces were wonderful! We ended up not using the hot tub or the outdoor fire pit as it was too cold outside, but rented the house partly because of those amenities. My sister, being the rock climber she is, loved the rock wall even though she could not use it as she is no longer a child, LOL! But she did manage to play lots of Frogger and Ms. Pac-Man on the arcade console in the game room! We did a little gambling in the evenings and two out of the four of us won money, so not bad!
We brought our two Bichon Frise dogs with us and although we didn’t take them to the beach due to potential toxic algae, they had some nice walks around the neighborhood and through some snow! In fact we had sunshine and 65 deg weather, then took a scenic drive to see the fall colors, then after it snowed took a scenic drive to see Emerald Bay! So we experienced 3 seasons in 4 days!
We had a great time and enjoyed our stay!

This was our 2nd consecutive year staying here, and it only got better. After our first stay I recommended some more cookware in my review, as well as a faulty dishwasher, and they stocked up on cookware and got a new dishwasher, as well as a new fridge. The house is perfect for a large group, with all the space you could possibly need. They do a great job with whatever you need. They even had the hot tub serviced when we requested with a blink on an eye. Located in a quiet neighborhood, yet still close enough to every where you want to go, I can say for my stay it was perfect.

The house is very spacious and at a very prime location. Everything is easily accessible. Its a very nice and quiet neighborhood. It has games/arcade room - which is cherry on the top. We would love to visit in our next trip to South Lake Tahoe.

Loved our stay! House was great. No issues at all and really appreciated how CLEAN it was especially the bathrooms. The house is in a great location which made quick runs to the store no issue at all. The kids loved the game room. We were there the hottest week of the year and they did the best they could to accommodate us by having extra fans in when we got there. We were gone all day anyway so only needed them at night. We would for sure recommend the home to others.

The best investment for Airbnb in LakeTahoe. This rental was amazing for the family , kids, and pet friendly. We truly enjoyed the deck views and it was a great location. Lake Tahoe is such a great place to travel and this cabin was so welcoming.

My group enjoyed staying at the house. It’s a great size, in a great location, and has everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking. Overall, we really liked the place and would stay there again.

Great house

The living space was great, being able to be with everyone for all activities. Fenced yard was nice for kids and pup. Kitchen actually had all the right things and wasn't terrible quality (multiple types of coffee makers, knives that were actually sharp, variety of pots/pans, a good selection of spices and condiments...) Though could use more coffee cups ;) We had a great time, would rent again.

If you’re looking for the perfect group/family home to stay at while in South Tahoe, this is the place. They have all the amenities you need, the space is clean and comfortable, and it’s dog friendly. The area is fantastic as well. Received lots of friendly smiles and waves from neighbors while walking our dog around the neighborhood. All of the amenities are up to date and functional. Plenty of cookware, plenty of extra towels and blankets, plus they have a washer/dryer to utilize. Can't speak highly enough of this place! We will definitely be booking here again in the future.

We had a wonderful time on our golf trip. We cooked a couple times and the grill worked great, kitchen appliances were ideal. 10/10 would recommend.

We had a great stay at the house. Lovely large space, all the things you would need for a great stay. Neighbourhood was nice and easy to get to the lake.

Very clean and sparkling. They took Covid cleaning seriously. Very thoughtful welcome with a note, coffee and gift for a great local spot! Great stay!

We would say about 75% good and 25% upsetting. First day was okay. House was spacious and fit the large family. The second day we were told (not in advance) the refrigerator was being replaced. We had already packed the frig with our groceries. Two members of the family stayed behind on day two to await new frig. We spent 4 to 5 hours emptying the frig on counter while they took the old one downstairs in garage and then we had to carry all the groceries downstairs to store until the new frig cooled. Then move all the groceries upstairs. Then the frig leaked and we had to wait a day for them to fix. The master bathroom shower plugged up while showering (2 to 3 inches of water plugged with clumps of previous persons hair) so we had to have that fixed. Made for a very uncomfortable 2 days. Promised (wow $100 credit) which we never received for out inconvenience.

This house was absolutely amazing, and the location is great. Enough room for us, and all of our guests, and what an amazing backyard. The only things that went against this property were....we believe they need much more kitchen essentials, and the half the dishwasher wasn’t working the whole time. That being said, RnRVR refunded me a very nice amount for the dishwasher, and even had a technician come take a look at it. So even with those inconveniences we loved the property so much, that we already booked it again for next summer. Don’t hesitate to book this property, it was outstanding.

The Airbnb was pristine! Comfy beds, very comfy couch and updated amenities. The oven would not close when we were there. We called RnR who sent someone out immediately. Impressive service. Very close to the strip, yummy restaurants and the snow!

Home was beautiful, and at a great location, kiddos loved the climbing wall, and both young and old loved the gaming table. We had a wonderful time celebrating family.

The house was very clean and stocked with almost everything you could ask for. The only problem we had was the heating- the downstairs would either be freezing or melting hot. The owners thankfully had space heaters and fans in the bedrooms so we tried to accommodate as we could. RnR has done another wonderful job of providing a beautiful and quiet home for us to make family memories in. Highly recommend them and their properties.
