Had a great time in this property. Very well maintained, great location, and upscale amenities. My family had a great time gathering around the fire and cooking meals together. Would love to come again.

This is our second time coming here. We love everything about it. Very spacious, stocked kitchen equipment, everything clean but most importantly the communication with the hosts was fantastic. Everything was accounted for and theres a lot to do in the area as well. Highly recommended for anyone who is looking for a quiet and safe stay.

We rented this home for our granddaughter's 18th birthday celebration. It was perfect. Huge space upstairs for gathering, separate living space downstairs for the kids to watch TV + two other bedrooms. At the end of the day, they all slept in the bunkbed room upstairs. The house is impeccably clean and well kept, everything you need for a family gathering. Rental agency is receptive to all questions. Great neighborhood close to town. We used the hot tub and walked around in the woods just minutes from the door! Our dog loved the neighborhood and the woods. Overall awesome experience!

Good stay. The house is very comfortable and matches the description. Minor issues previous stays noted such as difficultly with sliding doors and fridge were fixed. Host was responsive. I’d stay here again or at one of the host’s other properties.

The house was beautiful. It was exactly as described and represented in the photos. We had no unexpected surprises and no complaints. The hot tub was clean and hot as well. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.

We rented a vacation home in South Lake Tahoe through RnR Vacation Rentals and it was excellent. We were very nervous because we had read many horror stories about horrible property management companies and people having terrible experiences at expensive rental properties. We had no complaints about our stay. Everything in the house was exactly as described in the listing and in the photos. The house was well stocked and the team provided timely communication. I would book through them again in the future.

We had a lovely stay at this cabin for 4 people and 2 dogs. Cabin was situated in a very convenient location about 10 minutes from Heavenly in South Lake Tahoe and was very close to food and activities. The place itself was very well-stocked and incredibly spacious with plenty of supplies and bedrooms to sleep. The backyard and hot tub were also a huge plus. Would highly recommend for larger parties with pets as the owners/hosts have also provided items to allow pets to also have a great stay.

Property was just what we needed for our family. It was clean, well stalked with essentials, spacious, and inviting! The property management was easy to get a hold of and checked in periodically throughout our stay. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place in South Lake Tahoe.

A well appointed cabin in the whispering pines. Our family met here for a week of fun and games. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was big enough for us all to cook together. Plenty of room for game night or escaping to a quiet corner to read. Clean with a private back yard. A wonderful choice for our group.

We played a lot of games at the large table, cooked most of our meals all week there, and there was enough room for us to be completely comfortable. The kitchen had every necessary item for cooking! The perfect house for a long weekend in south lake tahoe! The management was super communicative. We had everything we needed for the group. Would definitely recommend/stay again!

Our stay at 2253 was amazing! Everything about the house was top notch. The kitchen is so user friendly and will labeled. The sitting area around the fireplace is very inviting. The bedrooms were big and spacious with extremely comfortable beds. Although we where there for the epic 5 ft of snow the streets where still passable in front of the house, the two stall garage was very convenient. The only draw back I had and this has nothing to do with the amenities of the house which are amazing, was the snow service only came twice in the mornings. Extremely satisfied with the house!

Nice quiet location in neighborhood.Fenced in yard great for dog (although access is on first floor, while main floor is 2nd floor, so you have to go down 2 small flights of stairs to get to backyard).Light switches were perplexing, and minimal space for food storage due to pantry being locked off, and all other kitchen cupboards stocked. Minor issues, and would stay again!

We spent the week at Heavenly Solitude for the Christmas holidays and it was spectacular! We would definitely rent again. The location was close to downtown South Lake but far enough away at the same time. It was a quiet and peaceful location.

The light and view of the trees from the living room makes this place so special. Our group had such a lovely time in this beautiful home. Very clean, kitchen was fully stocked, hot tub was hot, beds were cozy, yard was very well maintained. We would gladly stay here again in the future.

Terrific house in a quiet South Lake Tahoe neighborhood. Convenient to all the hot spots from Emerald Bay and around to Zephyr Cove but away from the congestion and crowds. My wife, two daughters, one son-in-law and one granddaughter had a great time. The house was a delight. Our only quibble is that the quality level of the provided toilet paper and paper towels could be better. After a long day of hiking and having all kinds of fun, we really enjoyed soaking in the hot tub.

The house is enormous; comfortable and well appointed. We particularly enjoyed the kitchen, as it allowed for communal cooking. Plenty of seating inside and outside in the three decks. Nice quiet neighborhood and people were friendly. We would definitely return.

Snow is one thing that we don’t have in SD, mainly the reason we go to Lake Tahoe. This property is so far the best house we have stayed. It is well maintained. Its spacious and kitchen is complete with everything we needed.. the freezer in the garage is also a plus . The cooking/ heating system is perfect. The location is also easy accessible to everything and it is a quiet neighborhood.. definitely will come back again ..

The vacation rental was exactly what we were looking for. The open layout allowed the 8 of us to enjoy each others company while not feeling cramped. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the hot tub was clean and toasty. The location was perfect; close to the mountain and the strip. Finally, having indoor parking for 2 cars was incredible. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This was the perfect house to escape for the weekend. Close to the mountain and town but still felt removed enough to enjoy the scenery without houses blocking you. The open layout made for great nights in and the hot tub was clean, hot, and a perfect end to a ski day.

Heavenly Solitude always meets our expectations. This was our 4th time here and view it as our winter get-a-way home. The home provides everything a family needs to enjoy the snow of Tahoe and yet have the comforts of home. This year especially the snow being so heavy, we stayed home every day and still had a memorable stay. See you next year for sure.

We stayed here during one of the past major storms. The house was cozy, clean and everything we wanted for our vacation.

The home was excellent and in very good clean condition. A beautiful layout and location. Only issue was the ice in the drive ---there was product in a bag in the garage to put down but an ice pick would have been better to deal with getting out of your car to go inside. All in all--we would come back to this home.

We very much enjoyed our stay! Too bad we had significant wildfire smoke that kept us inside for a few of the days we were there, but the other three days cleared up beautifully. The location was nice, and the inside of the home was pleasant. The kitchen had plenty of tools, mixing bowls, etc. that helped with food prep.

Great place met all are needs. except for a couple things :the out door balcony guard rail off the family room patio seemed a little un secured and wobbly in some places, also the out door chairs are a bit worn holes starting in webbing. Would defiantly come back for sure.. You just need to bring a change of clothes, all else is there. PS they sent us a message my husband left a prescription behind there are sending it int the mail. this before we even got home. Love RNR vac. rentals thank you

The house was perfect for our group of 6 adults. It was clean and had everything we needed (except a can opener-so we bought one and left it). I appreciate that there is plenty of soap, shampoo, dish soap, laundry soap, and toilet paper and paper towels. The location is great. It’s close to SLT activity and central to exploring east and west sides of the lake.

Lovely property with all the amenities we desired! Clean, neat, and organized. Close to everything we needed; hiking, biking, beaches and stores. RnR Vacation Rentals was super friendly and easy to work with. Everyone agreed it was a property we would stay at again.

The property was very nice. It was the most organized and well stocked home we have ever rented. The master bedroom was very large and the bed very comfortable. Beautiful deck we used in the afternoon to play games and eat dinner. It was a very quiet neighborhood and at the top of the hill was the Tahoe Rim Trail and access to the beautiful National Forest. The only downside is if you were trying to sleep downstairs you heard every step and movement of people on the main floor. If you have children or folks going to bed at different times it can be difficult trying to get sleep. It was surprisingly loud downstairs. Overall, I would recommend the home.

We had a great time here with friends and their dogs. The home was spotless. The well equipped kitchen kept us busy while we enjoyed the flurries through the big windows. Would return trip next time but will likely reserve through RnR directly to cut out the middle man. Sorry airbnb.

My friends and I had a fantastic stay a Heavenly Solitude. The house was nice and big, was very clean, and had everything that we needed for the weekend. The hot tub was a great touch too! The only struggle that we had was managing the heat in the house. The upstairs was usually very hot, and downstairs was very cold. Minor problem, though. We will definitely be back!!

Stu and Diana with RnR Rentals were fantastic! From the moment we booked with them, they have been nothing but amazing. Everything was just as described and spotless, and the hosts were very quick to answer questions and address any concerns of ours. Gorgeous house, very clean and cozy, is very spacious and comfortable. Our dog enjoyed it a lot, there is a big backyard ( fenced) and the hot tub was perfect. For sure is a great place to come back.

The home is very nice and comfortable for guest to enjoy and appreciate what a winter vacation should be. Well situated in a forested area with beautiful surroundings and easy access to snow trails about a half-mile walk up the street. Heavenly village and ski area is also just a short drive away. The home itself offers an open area where the entire family can be together with one another enjoying the forested views and efficient fireplace. The downstairs area offers options for separate conversation or TV media watching. The jacuzzi spa tub was great to use and temperature where at what you would expect for a good relaxing soak after skiing. The Garage was pleasantly large for two vehicles being parked inside and good space access all around each vehicle. Our particular stay was unfortunately shortened due to the 50-year record breaking snowfall experienced at Tahoe during the Christmas-New Year's week. We could not access the home for the first several days due to the extreme snow levels, but once the snowplows where able to get caught up within the residential areas, they maintained the access roads daily! The individual at the rental company did their best to keep us informed and did return our calls (I'm sure they where extremely challenged with the situation as well). Although we did have to spend the first set of nights at the Casino Hotels, I still felt confident with all the rental agency personnel. We would definitely look forward to future stays at "Heavenly Solitude" and build on the memories our family shared this past holiday.

The fenced in backyard was so helpful .the yard is beautiful and it was so nice to have multiple areas to sit with the beautiful backyard and two decks . Loved all the views no matter which window looking out of. Beds very comfortable, very clean, great gathering place upstairs where we could be on the deck, in the kitchen, dining and living rooms ! The kitchen was phenomenal as mentioned in other reviews! We made so many special memories for a vacation that was so needed . My husband is ill and he was able to relax and enjoy the home and views despite his inability to really see the area like the rest of us . This home made it perfect for us all! RnR was very responsive with whatever we needed! I cannot recommend this home or the company enough ! To top it all off, a bear was walking down the street so we were able to see it from a close, safe distance. We had a true a Tahoe experience and this home made all the difference! It is as beautiful as it looks! They thought if everything that might be needed ! We were all so impressed and thankful we selected this home!

we had an amazing experience during our stay in South Lake. the house was not only beautiful , but was stocked with all the comforts of home. a great assortment of small kitchen appliances. the well kept yard, and double decks gave our party multi areas to lounge and enjoy our time while at the house. the location of the property was close enough to the beach, stores, and casinos while nestled in a wooded neighborhood that provided that mountain ambience you would want when in Lake Tahoe. it definitely exceeded our expectations.

My family spent 5 nights here and it was a wonderful stay. The house was spotless and in a fantastic location surrounded by trees. Amenities were nice and the rental company very responsive and helpful. There's a fantastic hiking trail extremely close by (Railroad grade trail) perfect for our young kids and energetic dogs.

Not only was there ample space for both our SUVs in the garage, the home was clean on both inside an out. The beds were comfortable, and the home was spacious. Excellent value in a perfect location!

We loved our stay here so very much!!! Beautiful house inside and outside. Very clean averywhere. We loved the beds very much and the clean white sheets were amazing so we didnt have to use ours. All amenities worked great in the house and we have no complains. The hot tub was also very much used for relaxation. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a great place for family vacation.

We had an amazing time at this gorgeous cabin. The place was fully stocked with everything we needed and the hot tub was relaxing after a day on the slopes. It was a nice surprise to see a mini sledding area right next to the house and the kids had a blast. Actually a few adults did also. The layout of the place is perfect for a couple families or 3 couples. It was 15 minutes from Sierra and less than 10 to Heavenly. We loved it and would definitely rent this place again.

Very inviting layout to this house. Plenty of space to congregate in any of the common areas. We mostly just stayed in doors, but the few times we ventured out, we were close to everything; the lake, shops, and grocery stores. A great time was had by all!

This was perfect for a small group of us to have a relaxing getaway. There was enough space so all of us could work remotely in comfort. And the kitchen/dining area was fully stocked with all kitchen appliances and tools for us to be able to make cook meals and enjoy together. The space was incredibly clean and cared for. Would definitely stay again!

I have always been impressed with RnR after renting through them for four years on this same street. This trip we travelled to Tahoe following a fierce electrical storm that gave us 3 hours of sleep. Imagine our disappointment when we arrived precisely at 4:00 and could not gain access to the property. The key code had not been set. After multiple calls/texts to RnR we were able to get in after 45 minutes. No allowance or credit was offered for our shortened stay so naturally I was displeased. Beside that issue the home was lovely, spacious, clean and loved the location where we could walk out the front door for views and hiking trails. Hot tub worked well, backyard spacious and loved everything about the house. I would love to rent it again. Plenty of sanitizing supplies were available for use. I highly recommend this fabulous house and want to return.

This was a great place to take our family of 7 adults. What I appreciated most was how clean and modern this property was. Whoever cleans this place does an excellent job. We really enjoyed the open living/dining/kitchen area on the upper floor with a lovely view of the pine trees outside. The living room furniture was comfortable and in good condition. One day we watched a movie on Netflix with no problems. Wifi worked well. The kitchen was well appointed and organized. The neighborhood was quiet and had lots of side streets for walking. There was a beautiful hiking trail about 10 minutes from the property. We visited Sierra at Tahoe which was about 20 minutes away. We didn't love the hot tub as much as we thought we would - it was only 100 degrees and the ones who used it said the seating wasn't very comfortable. Not a big deal, though. Overall this property was wonderful for our family ski weekend and we would definitely like to come again sometime.

What a lovely vacation rental. Our family of 7 adults stayed here for the weekend and everyone was comfortable. It was very clean and modern - appliances were new, furnishings were clean and overall it was well maintained. Kitchen cupboards were even labeled inside so you knew where things were stored. The photos are accurate. It's a beautiful home, warm, welcoming and not overdecorated.
The two small things we weren't 100% happy about were the hot tub (because of the seating design it was comfortable for 3 people, but not 5) and the rental agency was not as flexible about check-out time as we would have liked. There were no guests scheduled to arrive after we left and we asked to bump check out from 10 am to 12 pm. They offered us a 3 pm checkout for an additional $50 or an 11 am check out for free (our check-out day was daylight savings day, so the extra hour helped a little).
The property is in a quiet neighborhood located near beautiful hiking trails and a couple of ski resorts. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time on our 11days at Heavenly Solitude. The only thing that was missing was fresh snow. Despite that we were able to find great skiing conditions, places to go tubing and snowmobiling and for sledding with tour grandsons,

This Jan. family Tahoe trip was our 4th time staying at heavenly solitude. We love the layout of this home as well as it’s location. The home is clean and well stocked with supplies. Highly recommend Heavenly Solitude.

Our experience was very nice. The home is in great shape and we had a great time staying there. The pipe under the kitchen sink was dislocated but we called and they sent a plumber that Sunday night at 8 pm to fix it. The only issue was that the TV electronics were low to the floor and an attractive nuisance to toddlers. Perhaps you could cover the electronics with some type of cabinet door.

This is by far one of the best properties I’ve ever rented for the summer in Tahoe, and I’ve been summer renting for over 30 years. This house is so peaceful, and the lot next to it is full of trees, and you can always see an animal there during the stay. The property has everything you could possibly need to host a huge dinner, and the home itself is perfect. 4 spacious rooms, and another downstairs pull out couch if necessary. We love this property!!! RnRVR was amazing, and quick to respond to any questions, or issues we had. They were, and are great. I 100% recommend this property for any length of stay.

The interior is our favorite thus far! Love the downstairs bedrooms and second living room. It feels like your own little sanctuary apartment down there and its really cool down there and doesnt heat up much. Fully stocked everything. They thought of everything here. Also its not bare it feels homie but clean and new. Very clean everywhere. Incredible garage, huge with a second fridge! Amazing upstairs deck with grill and awesome outdoor table with umbrella. That upstairs level does get pretty hot, but tolerable due to ceiling fans. Great laundry room. Great kids room. Awesome master. Fabulous kitchen with that incredible island. They provide actual liquid bottles of hand soap everywhere. Lots of towels and beach towels. Love that theres cable. First house i stayed in that had cable and an Xfinity dvr. DVD players in both living rooms, Xbox, sound system, etc. love the little kids table. We didnt have any issues and didnt need to reach out to the hosts, but that goes to show that the house was perfect! We will miss it, thank you!!!

Late season ski trip with my wife, daughter, two grandchildren and two dogs. The house was perfect for our needs to juggle activities for the adults to ski, the children and dogs to play and walk in the woods. A good fenced yard and upstairs deck were a nice plus. Heavenly Valley California parking was a six-minute drive. The Gondola Village and numerous restaurants were only six to ten minutes away. The neighborhood is nice, safe and quiet. The large, modern kitchen, dining and living area is perfect for a small group vacation.

Great house and very close to Heavenly. The space was perfect for our group and really enjoyed having the hot tub and BBQ. Check in/out instructions were very clear. We would definitely stay in one of RnRs rentals again in the future!

My family and my godson's family had such a wonderful time at the heavenly solitude. We utilized the grill on the deck as much as possible and the kitchen is fully stock even if you want to bake a cake! There were plenty of towels and space to sleep and the large garage housed the 2 vans that we drove. It was nice not having to park outside. My son and godson took advantage of the sleds in the garage and the sledding route that a previous family had left on the side of the house. Communication with RnR was always fast and simple and they took the time to answer all my questions. We will definitely consider coming back this summer because we had such a great time!

Ideal vacation house for our family of five plus one toddler! Amazingly well equipped kitchen that is superb for cooking. Great floor plan and well appointed with lots of light, style and comfort. We hope to return!

This house is a wonderful place for a weekend away in the mountains! It is fairly close to Heavenly Village (an Uber is about $20), close to several ski resorts, and is really spacious. We had 3 couples and 2 dogs and comfortably fit. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed, including a really nice gas stove. The hot tub was easy to access and really an awesome feature for after skiing. I was really concerned about the morning we were leaving as we had a snow storm the night before but the driveway was plowed by 9 am and we were able to park our car in the huge garage. Heavenly Solitude is a great place to stay. We found whatever we needed specially comfort. Very close to attraction areas and safe roads. The only issue was that the garage remote was not functioning.
This is a definite place we would consider to stay whenever we travel to Tahoe.

The house was beautiful and very comfortable. Great amenities and spacious. Very large garage to get off the street and out of the weather. Hot tub was perfect and fenced. Fireplace added to the experience and was welcomed after being out of doors. Overall we loved our week in Tahoe and look forward to returning. If you are looking for a high quality rental this serves that purpose very well. The Rental process was also very painless and the information provided during the process was invaluable.
One gripe. The mattress are xtra firm - so if you are used to a less firm mattress these are tough to acclimate to in a week.

We had a family get-together of 9 people. The great room was perfect for accommodating our large group. Large couches, large dining room table and large kitchen with additional seating at island. Beautiful location in the trees and large patio to enjoy the weather. Easy access to casinos (used uber to and from on several occasions). Thank you!

We recently stayed at heavenly solitude. We had two families and our dogs. The overall house was great. Layout and backyard was perfect. Our only complaint was all the living room furniture was broken and extremely uncomfortable. The downstairs had a weird odor as well. If the owners got new living room furniture, the house would be 5 stars all around.

We rented this home for an early family Christmas and our experience was amazing. RnR was extremely responsive and made communication easy and efficient.
The home is spectacular - beautiful view out the windows, great open living space where we all gathered. The master comfy. There are two bedrooms downstairs with a separate sitting area which was perfect for our grown children + spouses. The yard is fenced, which was super convenient for our dogs. Quiet neighborhood with lots of privacy. Very short drive to Lake Tahoe and Stateline.
A couple tips ... the kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, etc...but limited with condiments (salt, pepper, garlic salt and olive oil), so if you plan to prepare meals, bring supplies. A set of towels was provided for each bed, but if you plan to be lakeside...bring extra towels.
Great experience. We would definately return.

We rented this home for Thanksgiving weekend for our family. It was very spacious and cozy for our large group. It had good amenities (nice kitchen, hot tub, wifi, laundry, etc.) and a good location (short distance to stateline).

Drenched ourselves in the beautiful light that came pouring through the floor to ceiling windows. I could sit at these windows all day, sipping my coffee and reading my book (or screen!).

Easy drive from Highway 50 and I appreciated the flat landscape, imagining what it might be like in winter.

We were very quiet guests, mindful of the year round neighbor to the right. Ample parking for two cars, plus room for your skis, fishing gear, etc.

RnR went above and beyond in making our stay perfect. RnR was quick to respond to some of our more petty reports of things that needed fixing, like when my mom told them the bath tub plug had a broken chain, when it was really the hot tub chain that had broken, preventing us from using the hot tub - oh, Mom! That was embarrassing, but RnR didn't judge us, they just fixed both. The one downside of Heavenly Solitude, is that the bottom floor is dark, like all cabins with two levels and there were stains on a bedroom carpet, from which an intermittent smell of vinegar and something gross would fill the room (I tried stepping around the stain). I think the rooms would be more clean if there was no carpeting in the house. But all in all, this is a beautiful cabin, with a pretty backyard (all fenced in for dogs) and is very well maintained. I was very impressed with RnR Vacation Rentals.

This is our second time staying at this property. We had an amazing time. The place has everything to fit our needs. Kid friendly and great location! We look forward to visiting again!

Some tips to make it better:
Leave access to a broom, cleaners and rags for normal clean up. Put a hose and squeegee in the garage to clean out the garage. It will save on the house for sure. The vacuum cleaner bag needs replaced. Smelled bad. New dish washer was not properly installed. It is loose and the door hits the ground when opened.

Perfect place for a nice family reunion and to celebrate a 60th Birthday! Hangout sessions on the couch by the fire, board games around the large dining room table, spacious kitchen to prepare family breakfasts and dinners. The views were awesome. While eating breakfast you can see the majestic winter wonderland. And, the bedrooms were very comfortable. The home was also stocked with a pack n play and a high chair for our 9 month old daughter. Added bonus was that we were able to sled RIGHT outside the house. Location was great: Grocery store was only 10 minutes away, casinos/skiing was only 15 minutes away.

Overall, fantastic stay! We can't wait to come back during the summer!

The whole process of reserving this cabin was wonderful. We were happy to arrive to a clean and warm cabin. We felt at home and would come again.

This was our third visit to this home and our 5th rental with RnR. We continue to see RnR rentals as Premium and this home is wonderful. The living space is wide open and the view through the trees is like being in a luxury tree house. The RnR team is responsive and friendly, taking care of any issue like burned out bulbs or spa service immediately.

This was our second stay at this beautiful home. It is truly like living in a luxury tree house upstairs as you look through the wonderful pine forest. The open concept and kitchen are great. We are already scheduled for our third visit!
