Lakeland Village #495 - Steller's Jay’s Nest Hot Tubs, Beach

We had a wonderful stay there and it made us feel like at home with extra comfort and peace and excitement! They got our Christmas tree up all ready and our son got to excited and decorate during Christmas time so that was really nice! and we previously rented at a different property under the same management about a couple years ago which is why we wouldn’t mind staying under the same management. They did great job with everything!! We will definitely come back again!!!

Our experience during our stay was exceptional! We were thoroughly impressed by this accommodation. The location was ideal, and we greatly appreciated the prompt responsiveness of RnR Vacation rentals to any inquiries we had. We are eager to revisit this property in the future.

Great Location. Not on the water but close. If staying in South Lake Tahoe its a good choice.

Overall the stay at Lakeland Village was great! The location of the property allows for majority of things to be in walking distance (grocery store, food, trails, etc.), the private lake access and pier was perfect for our family with small kids! The property itself was nice, there was plenty of space for us to not feel crowded. It was hard with two different sets of staircases and both bathrooms being on the first floor opposed to the living area and kitchen being in the second. It was manageable though with some baby gates. There was no AC but the property had ceiling fans in all the rooms and multiple portable fans which helped a ton! The RNR & Lakeland Village Staff were awesome! They checked on us throughout our stay via text and were quick to respond. One of the smoke alarms started beeping due to a low battery and they had it replaced within a few hours with minimal interruption to our day. The check-in and check-out process was easy. Again, the overall stay was great and we enjoyed our first family vacation in South Lake Tahoe!

Excellent location with private beach access! The only down side was no central air but we were outside anyways during the day so it didn’t really matter.

The hosts were awesome and friendly. We had a wonderful stay and comfortable at the place. The unit was fully furnished and had everything we needed for the days that we stayed.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was great, super convenient to everything in South Lake Tahoe, and right on the lake which made for great walks with nice views. The place was very clean and kitchen was well equipped for cooking. It's walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants and more. We could even walk to a shuttle pick-up location to ski at Heavenly.

Great place to stay

It was a great experience it was far enough away from Heavenly that we didn’t get all the people traffics but close enough where everything was accessible. The place was beautiful and peaceful

Great place to stay. Very clean had what we needed for the weekend.

This place is wonderful and all of my family had a great time. The internet speed was impressive, making it easy for me to stay connected and work remotely. The clean kitchen was a standout feature for us, it was provided with thoughtful cooking essentials like oil, spices, plastic wrap and foil paper. It made cooking a breeze, and I didn't have to worry about buying these items for a short stay. Communication with the hosts was seamless. They were not only easy to reach but also proactive in addressing any questions or concerns I had. The quick responses added a level of reassurance, making my stay stress-free. The property is situated in a beautiful community with access to Lake Tahoe. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and my family would like to stay here again for next Tahoe trip.

Only complaint is that the 1.5 bathrooms are all on the entry-level and side by side. Seems an odd layout. Would make more sense if the .5 bath were on the 2 level.

Great location, short walk to the beach, parking was easy. Plenty of linens and kitchen utensils.

We had a great stay in your wonderful home. Everything we needed was there. Location could not have been better. Close to everything South Lake Tahoe and walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and of course the beach! Will definitely be back.

The only negative was no air conditioning at times it was uncomfortably warm in the condo even with the fans going but it was an unusually Hot Weekend in Tahoe

Rentedt through R&R vacation rentals... easy, friendly and very helpful. Overall good stay. Easy check in and having the key code to door makes life on the go so much easier! The kids loved having 2 pools and the lake literally out the front door! Definitely coming back!

We had 6 people stay at this location. The place was spacious enough to feel comfortable and the premises were very nice and well kept. We like the fact that it was a quiet area but close enough to the many activities available. The only thing that was uncomfortable was that the place did get pretty warm without air conditioning but it was comfortable sleeping at night.

We had a great time in the cabin. It was comfortable and a nice fit for our family of 4 and my friend! She slept upstairs in the loft and we in the bedrooms downstairs. We skied a lot and the snow was in unbelievably good.
On the days we didn't ski we soaked in the hot tub with the kids or hit the gym. I liked the location, it was about 10 mins from Cal lodge by car. Or you can take the ski bus, pretty much in front of the home. The Safeway is walkable and so is CVS to stock up. I visited the Chinese massage across the street a few times too for a foot massage.
