Pioneer Pines - HotTub, Pets, Foosball, 3 Fireplaces

The house was so comfortable, perfect for my family with different ages, there was something for everyone. Being just about 10 minutes from the town we had the opportunity to explore it everyday. The RNR host were amazing and always answered our questions. 10/10 will book with them again!

We all liked and enjoyed the house. Everything was equipped with what we needed and in good working order. We would come back again. One thing I would recommend, in the summertime when it is hotter, a bigger ceiling fan in the living room. Overall the house was great.

Spacious, comfortable home!

We had a wonderful time at this very nicely appointed home. The rental company that handles this home is top notch and the communication was amazing. The home we better appointed than any other rental we have had and made the vacation experience great. The rules are pretty strict and we were a little cautious when we read about all the possible fines but we behaved ourselves, treated the property with respect and had a wonderful time.

Family vacation went better then could ever have imagined and a big part was the lovely home called Pioneer Pines. Have stayed at many destination points over the years and can say that this mangaged property met my high expectations. Everything described was accurate and the communication was very responsive to my questions. Would Highly Recommend this place as part of a Tahoe experience and hope to be able to be able to make it back this summer!

The home is very cozy!! Beds are comfortable. Cute yard to build a snowman. They even had sleds that we used in the yard. Hot tub works great! The kitchen has everything you would need to make a nice meal. We would definitely return to this great house in Tahoe!

Beautiful home. Comfortable open living space. Very comfortable beds. Plenty of kitchen amenities. We didn’t want for anything. Rental agency is superior to any other for communication and responsiveness. Yard is lovely and hot tub cozy. Close to everything. The only draw back (which may not be for others) is closeness to Pioneer Rd and car noise when you’re outside. (This is not a problem when inside) I definitely recommend it.

Amazing place! Has literally everything you need for a multiple day stay. It’s really perfect for larger family’s or multiple couples because the downstairs area feels like it’s own part of the house, give everyone privacy when needed. Also, extremely dog friendly! Very secure wood fencing all around!

Overall had a wonderful stay here. The fireplace in the living room and even bedroom made the place feel extra cozy. The hot tub and hammock in the back yard were nice touches as well. Just fyi - this place is run by a rental agency so the communication was standardized and a bit much at times, especially around check out time/instructions, but this was minor compared to how much we enjoyed the place otherwise. Would definitely recommend if traveling with a larger group and/or a dog!

My wife and I rented the Pioneer Pines house for 4 days on a trip to Lake Tahoe to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The house was fantastic, very clean, had everything we wanted!

Very nice and peaceful

House was in great shape, well stocked, and clean. Layout is very nice for families with kids. It is split level with master on the main (master has a steam shower!) and two more rooms downstairs perfect for the kids. The downstairs opens up to a nice deck with hot tub which leads down to a nice patio and fenced in backyard. The owners made themselves very available for requests/concerns and were very accommodating. Great place to visit with easy access to all that the Tahoe area has to offer.

The house was spectacular. Very pet friendly. All the things you need in a home is available. Our family loved it, even our dogs loved it and we will definitely come back again! Thank you!

We stayed here for 4 days of relaxing fun. Explored the lake and hikes during the day and lounged in the eve like we thought we were at home. Very comfy will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

I just wanted to take a few minutes to share my thoughts on the Airbnb that my family and I stayed in during our recent trip to South Tahoe. Overall, I have to say that it was an amazing experience! The house itself was absolutely awesome. It had everything that we needed to feel comfortable and at home, and there was plenty of space for all of us to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. But what really stood out to me was the service that we received during our stay. The folks at the Airbnb were incredibly friendly and helpful, and they went out of their way to make sure that we had everything that we needed. Overall, I would definitely recommend this Airbnb to anyone who is looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in South Tahoe.

The property was great for my family and I! Very spacious, clean, and amongst one of the nicer master bedrooms we've seen. Despite the backyard being filled to the brim with snow, we were able to use the hot tub and throw snowballs for our dog.pio

We had an awesome stay here. We made great use of the kitchen which had mostly everything we needed (missing a few basics like flat baking sheets). Snow removal was adequate but we are in the midst of a record breaking snow fall year here in Tahoe so we did have some snow to deal with. The space was very pleasant and cozy and the neighborhood feels quiet and peaceful. I would definitely consider renting here again.

We had plenty of room for 3 couples and had a great time going to Heavenly each day. Had everything we needed.

The house exceeded all expectations. It was the perfect amount of space for my family with three young kids + our small dog. It was well stocked. The TV (with netflix) and WiFi were great for the days we were stuck inside. The beds were insanely comfortable and the hot tub was so relaxing. When I was selecting the place, I saw that other folks had complained about the proximity to Pioneer Trail and the road noise — I want to clarify that you can’t hear anything at all from inside the house. It never bothered us one bit. In fact, I actually liked the proximity to a main road in the winter — it meant less travel on treacherous neighborhood streets. I have no complaints. We would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful family vacation! Well equipped kitchen, super comfortable beds, great living spaces, nice backyard, and a jacuzzi! One thing that could make a difference is to have the decks cleared of snow and ice. Super hard to get around and enjoy those areas! Other than that, it was great!

One thing that should be taken care of, is to clean the decks of ice and snow. You cannot use them in the winter when we went- way to covered with ice and slippery!

It's a nice spacious house! Only 10+ minutes to Heavenly and shopping areas. The house is updated and clean, and even has a hot tub and a steam shower in the main bathroom. We enjoyed both, especially after a long day of skiing. The entrance area and the game room connected to the garage and the deck to the hot tub have tiled floors. We appreciated it as it helped us keep mud and snow out of the carpet and hardwood floors. Such attention to detail is something we found throughout the house. In the laundry room, we found clean beach towels and even rags for cleaning (which became handy wiping off snow). Near the couch, we found three blankets for cold nights. We also received a bottle of wine from RnR - it's a nice touch. Thank you for the great stay. I highly recommend Pioneer Pines!

This is a beautiful home located just off of Pioneer Trail. House was spotless and looks exactly like it does in the pictures. We really enjoyed our stay here and are looking forward to returning. Only downside I could see is possibly the noise level with it being located directly off of a busy road. We visited in December so we had all the doors and windows closed of course. It may be a problem during the warmer months as that street is busy and has a lot of traffic. Backyard faces the road so deck would get quite a bit of noise from the street.

One of the best rentals I’ve experienced! This is a beautiful home and very well set up for couples who may be sharing the house. This rental has everything you need to be comfortable. I initially chose this particular rental because it would be good for all my dogs. The owners were very accommodating and responsive. There was a very nice 6ft fence in the backyard which allowed them to play and go out without a leash. When staying in Tahoe beware of bears though, as we saw one the first night of our stay in the front yard. The hot tub made for a very relaxing trip, and the sauna was even more of a treat! I can’t want to come back to Tahoe and hopefully rent this same unit in the future.

Great place

Great place to stay if your family consists of kiddos and a fur baby. Very spacious and welcoming. When we first arrived to the home it was very welcoming and warm feeling to have lights on and music playing so we didn't arrived to a dark cold home. The fully fenced yard, BBQ, large kitchen, and main living area all in on one floor made being together easy and relaxing. The extra game area downstairs with additional bathrooms made it comfortable and easy for all guests to have what they needed no matter what part of the home they were in.

Fun time in a beautiful home at Lake Tahoe. I would highly recommend it.

The house was perfect for our family, master on main level, other bedrooms downstairs, deck and patios were great, hot tub was a hit, only drawback was the street noise, so if you can tolerate that, this place is perfect.

Lovely, spacious home! Comfy couch in the living room. Enjoyed the sunken tub. Good location to hike South Lake trails. The backyard is on Pioneer Trail but the yard is fenced in so perfect for dogs and kids. I enjoyed reading in the hammock. We’d stay there again.

We had a fabulous time staying at this great house. Our group was 6 family/friends and the layout of the house was perfect for all of our needs. We enjoyed the well stocked kitchen as we made breakfast each morning. The open floor plan made it perfect for all of us to hang out together. The HOT TUB was AMAZING!!! We used that every day! I would highly recommend staying in this home. The location is PERFECT and there is the "back way" to town which was very convenient. THANK YOU!

ery clean and appropriated. Close to Pioneer Trail, Highway 50, Meyers, and Elks Club Drive. Pioneer Trail runs right by the property but you hardly notice it. The neighborhood was quiet. I would say it is exactly like it is pictured. Lots of dishes, pots, pans…we didn’t lack for anything. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. I would give it a five and did!

I stayed at this property for 4 nights. The home was very clean and nicely appointed. The kitchen contained anything you would need to cook and serve a meal. The cable would intermittently go out but that is not the fault of the owner just the way cable is in Lake Tahoe. Road noise is rather loud which was mentioned in a previous review. After the first night I didn't notice it. I usually had the TV or music on so that dampened the road noise. If all windows are closed I didn't hear the road noise. Location was good - Away from the main strip but very close to everything. 5 Stars I would stay again without even thinking twice about it.

The property was as described. Best part was the host. The day of check-out we had car troubles and they were very understanding, especially with the pressure of having a new family coming in that day. I was very grateful.

Beautiful home, great place to unwind after long day hikes around the lake. Good central location to get to CA or NV sides. Great steam shower in master bedroom and nice hot tub on lower deck were welcome relief. Nice spacious kitchen with gas cook top. Only negative was road noise from fairly busy street in backyard.

Lovely, clean home with plenty of space for our family of five to sprawl out. The location was convenient for getting around to various destinations and we appreciated the fenced in yard.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. Owners have obviously taken great care to offer a comfortable stay. The house has a nice layout. It has a lot of extra little touches that made the stay most comfortable. We appreciated the coffee and teas, toiletries in the bathrooms, games, laundry supplies, etc. Nice touches. There are also inclusions for winter stays that are nice, such as fireplaces, extra blankets and throws and a hot tub (we did not use). The house is tastefully decorated, and absolutely immaculately clean. Our only feedback would be that the cable package should be upgraded, as we had few channels to choose from (not even our usual cable news channels). Also, more lighting in the back yard. When we took the dogs out at night it was really hard to see. Maybe there was more lighting, but we couldn't find a switch. We were so grateful to find a dog friendly home! Overall, we thank the owners and rental company for a very nice rental. We would recommend this home to others.
