One bit of advice. Turn the fireplace pilot lights off in the summer. Surprising how much heat was generated for these pilot lights.

Our family vacationed with another family of four and had the most wonderful stay in South Lake Tahoe! The home was perfect for us - well stocked, roomy, comfortable, and close to a forested area where we were able to take advantage of the snow and go sledding. We really enjoyed our time and would love to return!

Home came stocked with all amenities and was clean on arrival. Spacious backyard for the kids to run around and a nice hot tub to relax in. Our family had a great time staying at this property. Tip: This property is also listed on the renters website for the same price minus the "VBRO FEE".

All around a great experience starting from booking, to the stay and finally check out. They do have an early checkout time and no late checkout policy, so the morning of departure felt a little rushed, but nothing too bad. RnR team kept in touch with me starting from right after my booking to the last day. The house itself is very beautiful and spacious, with great big windows and all the amenities needed to have a great stay. All of us in the party including kids enjoyed every minute of our stay. The location is also very convenient. Would definitely rebook in the future.

Was centrally located close to all our needs. Beautiful area and neighborhood. The bear decided to take a peek inside our vehicle. But we had nothining inside for him! Kid friendly property. Has basic necessities! Would definitely book again!!

Overall very clean, big living room space, good neighborhood, good communication with property management. Main bedroom is amazing, big and nice. Three other bedrooms good and had good beds.

Very nice property, the house was exactly as advertised and is very well equipped. Probably one of the best places that we have stayed.

It was excellent and fit our needs matched the description. The house was large, giving guests plenty of room, the facilities were excellent, and the location was quiet. Nearby trails in the National Forest were an added benefit. Hot tub was an added attraction for the kids. The kitchen was well appointed allowing us to eat in most nights. This is a good choice for families.

My family and I came in and loved the house! Everything matched up to the description and photos. Hot tub was so relaxing! We all had plenty of room and everything felt very cozy! Great location just outside of town too. Wonderful stay!

We were very please with our vacation rental.
We walked in to a very clean and spacious home. The furniture was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The nice hot tub was a bonus! A couple of things that might make it even nicer: better bed pillows, and another adult bike so that two could go for a ride together.

My family and I had an amazing time while staying here. The place isn’t too far from all the attractions and we were able to play with the snow nearby.

Beautiful home in a nice quiet neighborhood. Our group was snowed out and couldn't make it, so I was the only person in this huge home until I too had to make a quick escape out of Tahoe or be stuck for days. Zero complaints on the home or the rental company...both were excellent. I would've given it 5 stars if not for things that truthfully weren't in their control. The neighborhood might be a little TOO quiet for a lot of larger families or groups. And...if it snows, you're on your own! No plowing of the neighborhood on the weekends and this home is deep into this development, so you either have a 4x4 or you're not going to make it in or out. Also, this neighborhood is a good 5 miles from Stateline, the slopes, and the lake. In good weather, maybe that's not an issue for most folks, but for the skiers and winter travelers...good luck! It was unfortunate we were snowed out, but we'd definitely try this house again.

We really enjoyed this rental property. It hosted our family of 7 very well. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. There is a gorgeous walking/biking trail at the end of minniconjou street. I highly recommend checking this out. The bikes were a nice surprise although a couple of them need repairs. We loved the deck with the BBQ and the downstairs hot tub. The kitchen is very well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, coffee pot, slow cooker, blender, etc. The downstairs couch bed may be past its prime. I would not recommend counting on that as a bed. The only other thing I would change is to make the backyard more functional. Maybe some grass or something. The weeds made that area unusable. That was just one small downfall though. This is an amazing house and I highly recommend it!

My family and I had a very nice stay in this vacation home. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the neighborhood and location of the home. Plenty of space for the 8 of us as well. We had a very minor hiccup with the blender, but RNR was impressively responsive and delivered a new one. The only weird thing was access to the hot tub, but otherwise this vacation home met all of our expecations.

We booked this property with two families with 4 kids in total. Overall, great stay. Nice neighborhood and quiet. Was about a 10-15 minute drive to heavenly ski resort and about 10-15 minutes to restaurants/services in South lake tahoe. The property is clean and has ample space. The hot tub was clean and enjoyable. The check in process was easy. The kitchen is well stocked. I would rent this property again.

About 10-15 minute drive to the base of the california lodge at heavenly and 10-15 minutes to several services / restaurants in south lake. Nice neighborhood off the main road. Very quiet. Would certainly stay at again.

Rental process was a breeze. House is large, comfortable and well-appointed. Everything was clean, and exactly as described. It’s 10 mins from the California lodge at Heavenly Valley Ski Area. Plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Would rent again in a heartbeat.

I was contacted from the property rental company shortly after booking to confirm all the rental details. House was clean and all the bedding and towels were clean and fresh. Plenty of towels for the hot tub and extra blankets and sheets for the pull out beds. Kitchen is very well stocked with every kind of appliance you would need! Plenty of dishes and cups and utensils so you don’t have to constantly wash dishes. The 3 bedrooms downstairs were all well sized and the master room is amazing!

Check in was seamless and we had great communication with the rental company prior to check in. All the bedrooms, especially the master) are great sizes. Plenty of towels and extra sheets and blankets for everyone. Kitchen is very well stocked with everything you would need to cook and prep all of your meals.

We enjoyed our stay and it was a wonderful home and experience for all of us. Unfortunately upon our arrival it was noticed that a handrail on the stairs was very loose and not safe for some people and kids in our group, however overall we loved the home and the location was perfect

Our stay was amazing. RnR had amazing customer service. The house was well equipped extremely clean and very comfortable. We would stay here again in a heart beat. We only had one small complaint. The downstairs bed in the room with the wooden furniture was slightly hard but other than that our stay was incredible.

Our trip to Tahoe and this beautiful house was exactly what we needed this year. The house had everything we needed for 2 families to stay during these unprecedented times. There was enough outdoor and indoor space for us all to feel comfortable. There was more than enough to do within the house to keep all of the kids happy, and it was close enough to shopping, bike-riding, and the south lake beaches. Would definitely rent this house again!

We are so pleased with our time spent at Sugar Pine Lodge! It was an absolutely perfect home for our small family get away. With a total of 9 family members (6 adults and 3 children-ages 16, 10 and 7) staying in the home, there was enough space for us to be together without feeling like we were on top of each other. We spent the evenings lounging in the open family room playing cards and just hanging out—the couch was huge and so comfy! And having a fooseball table and arcade console in the home lead to some competitive matches for both the kids and adults. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, even spices and coffee, and the dining table/counter seating allowed us to eat meals together. I can’t say enough about all this home’s ‘pluses’—the downstairs bedrooms offer multiple sleeping arrangements, the master bedroom is the size of a small apartment, the balcony is perfect for BBQ-ing, and the neighborhood is quiet.The location of the home in South Lake Tahoe is another real plus, it’s less than 15 minutes from the casinos and the lake. Even closer, there are numerous hiking trails within walking distance from the cabin. We highly recommend this home for any family looking to enjoy Tahoe. We look forward to our next stay at Sugar Pine Lodge!

This house is a great place for a ~8 ppl ski/snowboard trip. It's big, clean and located in a quiet neighborhood. Super convenient, ~10 min drive from Heavenly and ~10 min drive from Safeway. Check-in and check-out were very easy as well. There were some minor issues with the house location but the host was able to communicate and resolve it timely. Overall a good experience

Amazing house. Great location

Wow! We had a family reunion at this house, and one of the kids kept calling it a mansion. In reality, it's a very beautiful home to re-connect with loved ones. The kids loved the video game and the foosball table. Close proximity to hiking trails (and I imagine sledding hills in the winter). It was very clean, and the open living area and fully equipped kitchen upstairs was great. Management was quick to answer any questions we had. We really enjoyed our time there, and will definitely rent this house again.
