The PEAK Tallac 15 - The Ultimate in Lakefront Luxury

This property is absolutely amazing! The location, the furnishings, the cleanliness and the view are all perfect! The property management and on site manager are all so attentive. They checked on us upon arrival to make sure all was well and checked on us prior to departure for the same reason. I've traveled to Lake Tahoe many times, but this trip is by far the best.

Just got back from a weeklong October stay to see the leaves changing color.
We always choose to stay at Sierra Shores booked through RnR Vacation Rentals because the RnR team is professional and responsive to our needs/questions and the luxurious Sierra Shores townhomes are right on the lake.
There are so many other reviews that say the same thing. We like all the different units - one just has to decide if they need a 3 bedroom or a 4 bedroom. Each townhome is sited to look out on the beautiful lake. We will keep coming back.

The PEAK Tallac 15 is a beautiful and well-maintained home. It’s the perfect spot at the end of a complex for great views and lots of privacy right on the water. It’s convenient to everything in South Lake Tahoe and easy to get to other locations on the lake. Daniel, the property manager was so kind and helpful throughout our stay and made us feel very welcome. I am very selective about where I stay and I highly recommend this property!

Our great nephew and is now wife after knowing each other the last 15 years took place at South Lake Tahoe, their special place. Our niece found our accommodations so most of both families and friends rented units. We stayed in Unit 15 a three bedroom, three bathroom lower floor on the lake unit. When we pulled in, we were greeted by the nicest funniest manager. Sorry I’m bad with names. He immediately got us a luggage cart and helped us load everything up. We walked into our rental and were first taken back by the stunning lake. Unit #15 was more than we could have expected. Beautifully decorated an amazing fully stocked kitchen and lovely bedrooms. We were able to enjoy lounging on the patio together for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. It couldn’t have been a better experience.

Stunning home, perfect location! Our family of 5 had the best time!

We had a wonderful, relaxing time. This was prime location in South Lake Tahoe close to heavenly mountain, hiking, restaurants and grocery stores. We rode the Heavenly Mountain gondola, tube slide and mountain coaster. The Tahoe keys marina was close and had lots of boats to choose from. We were glad we booked a month in advance since they were turning away those without reservations. The boat ride was stunning, especially emerald bay. We got an overnight kayak rental from SUP Tahoe to allow for sunrise kayaking - beautiful. We hiked the Rubicon and Vikingsholm trails.

We loved the stunning view of the lake from the unit so much that we cooked or ordered takeout instead of dining out much. The unit had a dedicated gas grill and patio dining table and furniture so we could comfortably spend time outside. The property included a well-maintained shared lawn, pool, hot tub, and lake access. It had clean, adequately stocked kitchenware and laundry/ bath supplies. I would have liked to have more towels, since we had to wash them a few times during the week. We loved that each of the 3 bedrooms had their own bathrooms and the showers were really nice.
We appreciated the puzzles and games we were welcomed to use.
The area was quiet and peaceful but is located adjacent to a resort / public beach that held noisy corporate events and weddings that went on until 10p most of the nights. The reserved garage parking spot was lovely and was one of several security features. If we returned to Lake Tahoe we would definitely prefer to stay again in this beautiful unit.

This was the nicest cabin we have ever stayed at! Everything was clean, styled beautifully, and so comfortable! The lakeside view was unreal. We will DEFINITELY be back!

The property and views were breathtaking. The house was gorgeous and we had so much fun snowmobiling, taking gondola rides, and experiencing all the sights and great places to eat. We can’t wait to come back.

We stayed at the peak Tallac 15 with our 4 girls and had plenty of room. The house is just amazing, and the views are spectacular, everything in the house is top notch, and very clean. The washer and dryer made it very helpful for us to pack light and wash what we needed. There is a grocery store right across the street and restaurants all around the complex which made getting around very easy. Management was great too!

We have stayed at Sierra Shores many times and this is one of our favorite units. this was our third autumn stay to see the leaves change color which never disappoints. We were warm and comfortable in this luxury townhouse that is right on Lake Tahoe.

This property was exactly what we wanted. It was convenient to everything, yet secluded. It was literally on the lake. We enjoyed our week there.

Amazing views and gorgeous home

This home is beautiful and comfortable. Love the Master Bathroom with the heated floors and steam shower! Wish the tub was bigger (for two people). The living room, dining room, and kitchen are nicely appointed and, of course, you can't go wrong with that gorgeous view of the Lake!

Great property for our adult children. Everyone had a room and private bathroom. Kitchen is well stocked for home cooked meals. Linens and towels are top notch. The view was amazing. Great location away from the crowds with bus service available to the gondola for skiing. 100% recommend.

The condo was lovely, well stocked and just the perfect location. I could’ve stared out over the Lake and the Sierras all day! RNR was extremely helpful and responsive. The entire stay will be a treasured memory for years to come! We’ll be back!

Great views right on the lake, our 2 year old had a blast in the snow and everything was within walking distance.

Just spend four days in a wonderful condominium overlooking Lake Tahoe. It was exactly as described and even better than the pictures. Unfortunately when we arrived on Monday the electricity was in a brown out due to a huge snow storm the day before. So no heater, no frig, and very low lights. RNR Vacation Rental and Lauren were incredibly helpful during the next 24 hrs. They were right their offering any help to make our stay a good one. Can’t say enough good things about this lovely condo and the help we received while staying there. Will definitely be back.

This was a central meeting spot for my son coming from LA and my daughter from Seattle. The unit sits on the north east corner of the complex, with an unobstructed view of the lake and snow capped mountains. Each of the 3 bedrooms has its own bathroom. The kitchen is top of the line: high end Viking appliances and lots of them, stylish new and matched utensils, plenty of pots and pans, and dishes. The entry to the complex, garage, and unit was all keypad: no worry about losing or misplacing keys and access shared by all 6 adult guests. Safeway literally across the street, pubs and restaurants within walking or short drive distances, and minutes from Stateline casinos and Heavenly tram. Nice spacious patio with functioning gas grill which we used despite the weather. All things considered a great place to stay anytime of year.

72 hours before We came to SLT to visit family and this property was everything we wanted and more. Waking up to the beautiful views of the lake was so special. The kitchen had top of the line Viking appliances and was well stocked with cookware/utensils/spices if you wanted to cook. I also loved that there were available cleaning supplies and detergent to do laundry. I hate when you rent a house and they give you one roll of paper towels - not this place! The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were nice and the house was well appointed. Beach access was easy and convenient. Definitely booking another stay!

Stunning property with gorgeous views. Centrally located providing easy access to restaurants, golf courses, activities and casinos. The property managers were extremely responsive to any questions we had. They provided excellent instructions from check in, how to operate things in the house to checkout. I would highly recommend staying here!

BEAUTIFUL PLACE. GREAT LOCATION

WE had a great stay at this location.

My wife, 20 year old son, 17 year old daughter, her 17 year old friend and I stayed at The Peak at Sierra Shores, Unit #15 from Saturday, May 28, 2022 through Tuesday, May 31, 2022, Memorial Day weekend. There were five people in our party and the maximum number of guests in this unit is six people. We had to pay about 45% of the balance in early January when we booked and the remaining 55% was paid two weeks before checking in. This was our very first Airbnb rental ever! The best views of the lake with beach access! Out of all the units here, I think this unit is closest to the lake! The beds were comfortable, the bath and showers were great. The master bathroom has a ThermaSol steam shower and a NuHeat floor heating thermostat. Each bedroom has a 50 inch Samsung TV and the living room has a 55 inch Samsung TV. Make sure to sign out of your streaming accounts on all the TVs you used when you check out. You really don’t need to bring any food because you can walk across the street to Safeway, which also has its own gas station. It’s nice not having to drive to a grocery store. We even walked to a nearby Whole Foods. The kitchen has all Viking appliances. All the cooking utensils you’ll need are here too. There is a clothes washer and dryer in the place. You must take your shoes off before entering which I think is a smart move to keep the place looking good. This unit is on the ground floor level and has 10-12 feet ceilings. Unit #16 is directly above this place so sometimes you will hear people walking around. There is on site Wi-Fi access. You are assigned two parking permits which must be hung from the rear-view mirror of each vehicle. You are allowed one automobile in a covered, garaged, assigned parking spot. I’m not sure if the covered, garaged automobile must have a permit hanging inside. There are five, uncovered, shared parking spots (plus one handicapped spot) which are first come, first serve. Otherwise, automobiles must park across the street in the Safeway parking lot. You must take your trash bags to the covered dumpster in the shared parking lot to prevent bears from coming around and looking for food. On the backyard patio, there are two regular chairs that both have ottomans, two lounge chairs, a dining table with 6 chairs and the BBQ grill. The outdoor BBQ grill has a gas line running to it, so you don’t need to purchase propane, charcoal briquettes, etc. The sofas and leather chair were comfortable to sit in. The host, RnR rentals, was very prompt when I asked them various questions through Airbnb app. For example, I asked if the wine glasses provided are dishwasher safe and they are! Our kids are already asking when we can come back! This will be our “go to” place for South Lake Tahoe from now on. The location near the lake and surrounding amenities make this place tough to beat!

This is definitely a luxury property. Not overly large, but perfect for our group of 5. The weather was cold but the property has about the best lakefront view I can imagine and a wonderful court yard. Fitness Center is top notch! Kitchen was well stocked with spices, etc. The shared bathroom in the hall worked out better than I thought. Only possible downside was that hot tub was under repair, but rental agency refunded some money to make up for that. I felt that to be fair.

The views of the lake and snow capped mountains are the reasons I rented this condo and it was worth every penny. Whether you are outdoors on the patio or indoors at the kitchen table or the couch, you have million dollar views. The condo had every amenity we could possibly want. Location, location, location. It is close to everything you want and need. We will definitely return again!
The only recommendation is that the wall outlets be replaced with GFCI outlets so that hairdryers can be plugged in and used in the bathrooms.

Tallac 15 has a tremendous location overlooking Lake Tahoe. We appreciated that the he gourmet kitchen is well stocked with items you have at home (unlike most vacation rentals). The unit is super clean, well stocked, and one of the great home rentals in the market. You can tell that the owners have a pride of ownership similar to what you would find if you were staying at a friend's house.

Top-of-the-Line! As amazing as the pictures provided. The home and views were so beautiful that I proposed to my girlfriend there on the beach. Unforgettable weekend in an unforgettable place. Definitely will happily return in future. Worth the money.

The house was exactly as described. Very well maintained and had everything needed for a wonderful vacation. The location was perfect to get to everything and having the grocery store across the street was very convenient. Just steps away from the lake and the view off of the back porch is indescribable.

This unit is awesome, right on the lake. Everything worked. Views from kitchen, dining room and living room were spectacular. We got stuck in the Tahoe blizzard of Christmas 2021 and it was not fun. The host service was mostly very helpful in communicating with us and helping us navigate two extra days of being snowed in. Only complaint is we saw the storm coming, asked the host to communicate with the next guests about delaying arrival since we knew they would never get to Tahoe in the storm and they ignored the request. Exactly what we knew would happen then happened and we ended up staying 2 extra days but were forced to pack up and leave each morning to make way for the new guests only to then return and unpack once they didn't arrive. Overall, I recommend this unit and the host.

This high end condo couldn’t be closer to lake or the action in South Lake.

The pictures of this property are 100% accurate. If you are ever going to break the budget for outstanding accommodations, this is the property to do it on. You won’t be disappointed.

We loved every second of our weeklong stay at this beautiful home. The property was exactly as stated... layout, amenities, cleanliness, comfort. And this location... are you kidding me? It doesn't get any better. The view from the entire kitchen, living area, and outdoor patio are exactly as you see in the pics, if not better. Absolutely stunning. Even my teens were impressed (that's hard to do... lol). You can walk right out your back door and down a few steps to directly access the beach.

We did a lot of hiking, played in a bit of remaining snow, miniature golfed, disc golf at a nearby course, and lots of puzzles, playing cards and relaxing while gazing at that gorgeous view from our dining table. We walked to a fantastic local donut shop (Glazed and Confused). So good!

Only had one issue (our fault)... my husband broke a coffee pot. I called the property managers who answered immediately. They told me where the extra pot was stored in a high cupboard and also about the backup Keurig. Crisis averted, we didn't have to go a second without our beloved coffee. :) I received a call from the property managers on our way out as well checking on our stay. Super nice people who are helpful, kind and attentive.

This is a beautiful townhouse right on the lake. It was very cold with snow flurries. It we still got in a few hikes. The property is strikingly beautiful and the RnR rental company is always available and helpful.
